I can't believe how time is flying by! Too fast, too fast - I want to keep my little baby a little longer. But she is already growing so fast. Newborn clothes are long gone and she's already starting to get too tall for her 0-3 sizes.

Kadee is a good sleeper. She really likes my soft bed.

She has started sucking on her arm. Not her thumb, that's not good enough. Her entire arm.

Walking with Daddy

Kadee and I did a 3 mile diabetes walk (since mine is here to stay). But my walkin' buddy fell asleep before we even started walkin'. Still cute though. She loves the stroller.

There were over a thousand participants and we raised over $100,000 for diabetes research.

So sleepy!!

Sometimes Kadee gets excited. Over what I don't know...

Occasionally I do know.

I've been trying to catch Kadee "talking" but she hasn't let me. We got close though.

These pictures are from the before-the-blessing trip to Tulsa. We ran to Costco to grab a few things and to test out Kadee on a longer car ride. She slept the whole way there and screamed most the way back so who knows.

We grabbed something to eat while we were there, but Spencer didn't want to get anything on the baby.

I think it worked.

It was so great to have family come visit for Kadee's blessing. She has been held constantly and loved by everyone. Spencer gave her a beautiful blessing. He felt it was very important that she grow up learning to love her Heavenly Father and be a good example. I love that. I will do my best as her mom to help her and be an example myself.
I absolutely love that my mom saved the blessing dress she sewed for me so we could use it for Kadee! The only thing is that Kadee is quite a bit bigger than I was so we just couldn't do up the top button on the dress.
Everyone took lots of pictures this weekend so I'm using mine and stealing quite a few to get everything documented on the blog.

This is how we found Kadee when we went to get her ready for church. She must have been too warm or super squirmy or both. I dunno.

3 generations!

4 generations!

On Labor Day Grandma and Grandpa B and Ashleigh came to say goodbye before they all headed to San Antonio. When Grandma got here the conversation went like this:
Grandma: "Where is the baby?"
Me: "In the bathroom."
Grandma: ".....the BATHROOM?!??"
Me: "Yeah. Look."

Haha! Grandma was pretty confused, but she was ok with it after I explained that Kadee sleeps great with the fan on in the bathroom. So we put her in there with us when we shower (she likes the sound of the shower too) and then when she falls asleep I usually just leave her there. It's great because then I can get other things done in the morning.

After Grandma and Grandpa left with Ashleigh leading the way (hope she doesn't lose them somewhere!), we left to meet Mom, Dad, and the little people at their hotel room. Kadee really likes her bath a night and I thought she might like to play in the pool. So we got her all suited up in her super cute swimming suite from Brianna and I sat in the water with her (luckily it was super warm) and splashed her feet in it. She sits very content when she is in water. I think that will end up being a lot of fun in the future! After that we found a bbq place for my dad for lunch, had some ice-cream and then had to say goodbye.
So glad everyone was able to make it. I know it is not an easy or quick drive by any means. It sure meant a lot to me to have as many family members as we did.
