We don't have a spot for a real garden, (yet) so we tried a little container gardening. I figured green beans would be a good starting project. But the last snow we had was the second week of May so our bean plants started inside. Then they moved out when it got warmer. I think next year I'll start them inside even sooner than I did. We only had 4 little plants that made it outside.
Kadee was super excited to help me pick the first green beans. Then she and Jackson promptly ate them all for lunch the next day.
