COMIC CON Sept 2014

Jake and Janessa invited us to go to Comic Con with them this last weekend. I felt like a super big nerd but it was really fun. We all dressed up Star Trek themed-y. I need to get the big group pictures from Jake still. 

Spencer and I met up with Heather too and we made it in to see Stan Lee. He was awesome! And just a really funny old dude. 

Spencer had a very convincing Spock look going on and he got his pictures taken with lots of random people. It was pretty cool.

Last Year of Undergrad Celebration

We are just a little bit super excited to both be in our last year of undergraduate studies. I will be done forever after (at least that is the plan), and then Spencer will be going on to grad school. I decided we needed to celebrate, and what better way to celebrate than with cake?!

Summer Catch-Up Post 8 (Youth Pioneer Parade)

Our stake had a float the primary kids worked on and participated in for the youth parade. It was really fun to do that with the kids. As Spencer calls them - with my groupies. I love primary!

Summer Catch-Up Post 7 (4th of July Funnel Cakes)

We have started a tradition of going with my cousins to Bountiful on the 3rd for fireworks, and then the next day we head to Orem. This year we decided to make our own funnel cakes while we were at Grandma Wallace's.

I thought they turned out rather well and they tasted good too. We like going to Grandma and Grandpa's and making stuff for them because they are fun and get excited about it with us.

Summer Catch-Up Post 6 (Buckwheat's Baptism)

Cache had to wait a few weeks after he turned eight to be baptized because everyone was so busy over the summer, but he made it.

Unfortunately that was the day after Grandpa B fell from a ladder and they couldn't make it. Luckily we had Spencer there to be the other witness with Grandpa Haslem. We Skyped Grandpa in the hospital afterwards.
