Well we have been keeping plenty busy. All last week I had rehearsal and performances for Bethany High School's "Cinderella". The band teacher at my school was going to play for it but she ended up asking me to cover for her. It was really fun to be able to play again, but it feels a little weird to play clarinet that much with a human inside me. My stomach would be pretty sore after rehearsal. The performances went pretty well though. Everyone said the orchestra sounded good. Spencer went to the first night performance. His comment was, "There were a lot of little girls there in princess dresses...!" haha. He's just getting himself ready I think.
At school, I have been getting things ready for a sub in the fall. It has been a lot of work, but I still have lots to do. I have also been working on getting things put together for our trip with students to Six Flags. Spencer will be going with me. I don't know that he will have much fun... because I can't ride the rides at all... but I don't really want to spend the whole day in Texas by myself while 29 weeks pregnant. It will be interesting.
Spencer is winding up his first year in pharmacy school. He has been diligently studying for exam after exam. He is also the best housewife right now. By the time I get home from teaching Spencer will already have the dishes done and a load of laundry going. He is seriously the best.
We are getting really excited to be parents. It is super fun to watch and feel baby Kadee moving. Spencer gets really excited and can't believe how much movement he is able to feel. We are very confident that we will have a very healthy baby girl. I think she likes the sound of Spencer's voice. He has been reading to us every night. We first read "Matilda" and are currently working on "The Hobbit". I really like it when Spencer reads too. He has a great narrator-like voice. I think he gets a kick out of doing voices, especially for Gandalf. Our daughter is probably going to be a big nerd, but at least she'll be a super cute, big nerd.
