Grandma ＆ Grandpa Wallace Visit - Last Day Fun

The last day Grandma and Grandpa were here it was super hot. We tried to get to the playground early before it got too hot to play. It was still pretty hot though!

By this point it was just too hot. So we went home and got out Kadee's little swimming pool.

Bubbles are the best

Next we were off to play at the library. (Because it's nice and cool there.)

 Kadee played with the cow. And read to the cow. (She chose "Bridge to Terabithia")

Grandpa helped her figure out the train magnets

Last, we went to Braum's for a treat!

Kadee likes "caw-tet" (chocolate)

Kadee cried and cried when we said goodbye at the airport.

Grandma ＆ Grandpa Wallace Visit - River Walk

There was a big thunderstorm after our first day of play. It was pretty rainy the next morning. But it cleared up and cooled off for a perfect late morning walk down town around the river walk. It was very pretty.

Chasing the duck

Grandma took these pictures of Kadee. Guess she thought the statue needed a hug. Silly girl. 

They were talking about the colors of the flowers

More duck friends. This duck followed Kadee for a long way. I think it was hoping she'd drop some food... we only had fruit snacks though. Or as Kadee calls them "soot nacks".

Allen almost grabbed that little bird.

Kadee had such a good time with Grandma; coloring and watching Pooh.
