We are so proud of Spencer! He has worked really hard to get this Air Force scholarship. He was officially commissioned into the United States Air Force on Friday, May 4, 2018. We were lucky to have a friend in our ward who is an active duty officer in the Air Force, so she was actually able to swear Spencer in and sign his commission. He is currently a Second Lieutenant and after he gets his PharmD he will be a Captain. It was a quick little show. I think it took all of 15 minutes, but with Kadee that was perfect! We didn't plan for it to be on Star Wars day, but it is a very happy coincidence. Yay Spencer!
Kadee didn't cooperate for a good picture, so somewhere between all three we got one.
So now we know that Spencer already has a job after graduation, we just don't know where it will be. We will have lots of adventure ahead of us! We're pretty excited!
