Winter Birthdays

Spencer kept saying how he felt badly for making me bake my own birthday cake, but I like to make my own birthday cake. I really enjoy it. And decorating is so fun. I've been working on getting better at it. Happy 24 for me.

The cake I did for Spencer's birthday took a little more time. It was my first attempt at decorating with fondant. I could still use practice but it was super fun to make! Happy 26 to Spencer.

Also, it is very clear that Spencer is Kadee's favorite.

Kadee's First Christmas

Well Kadee did a great job on the drive to Utah for Christmas. She pretty much slept the whole way. We only had 15 minutes on the whole drive where Kadee was very unhappy. Luckily it was the 15 minutes before we got to Monticello and we were able to pull her out of the car for a few minutes and get her bum changed. But mostly she was just so sleepy!

But Kadee has definitely loved all of the attention. She has been getting over a cold but has been doing really well.
First we had Christmas with the Wallace Family at a cabin in Eden. We enjoyed several days there in the snow. 

 I'm just going to post a whole bunch of other pictures from our Christmas trip. (Especially since I'm so late in posting it!!)

New Years!! An adorable start to 2017


 

After a long drive to get back home...(well..half way at least) Kadee was SO happy to finally be able to get out of the car and get some milk into herself.
