Fantastic Weather

This weekend has been pretty chill for us. Last night we watched Inception because Spencer hadn't seen it yet. Today was super nice outside. It was at 50 pretty much all day. (Right now it's 11:03 at night and it's still 43 degrees outside!)

This morning we went to the Salt Lake Temple to do initiatories. It was the first time for me going back to do that since going through the temple for myself. So I had forgotten a lot of what is said and it was really good for me to go back and be reminded of all the promises.

We did some Costco exploring after that because I finally ordered pictures from our wedding day. Now I just have to figure out where I'm putting them :) After that we came home, had lunch, and then biked to the City Library. We spent quite a while there checking what they had in all 5 of the levels. I think we'll be going back quite a bit. Especially since Spencer found the dvd selection of Charlie Brown movies. We just got one to start with and, one of my favorite movies, IQ :) The bike ride let me know how out of shape I am though. Riding to the library was all downhill. . . which means that coming back was all uphill. I was dying by the end. Spencer was laughing but still patient with me. He's a good one to have around.

This evening, we caught a choir concert at the Tabernacle. It was really awesome! They sang a lot of cool Broadway and classics like Fiddler on the Roof, Hello Dolly, Sound of Music, Cats, and even Footloose. Some soloists sang too and they were phenomenal! The one duet that they sang was super funny. It was called "Therapy (tick, tick......boom)", and basically it was a couple trying to express their feelings. It was so funny! I had never heard it before. Makes me a little curious to know what it is from.

We watched some Charlie Brown and then Spencer was gracious enough to watch IQ with me. I love Meg Ryan movies :) And that one is probably the funniest. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it. It was one of those movies my mom and I would always watch. That, and anything with Bing Crosby in it :) (Hey Spencer, I know what we should watch next!)
