Bertoch Spring Break Visit - Cowboy Museum

I had never been to the Cowboy Museum, so I was really excited for an excuse to go. We looked at all the art galleries first and Cache was like "why the heck did we come here for this?!" And then we got into the rest of the museum and saw a whole bunch of really fun stuff. So he wasn't super bored for very long. We were there for so long that Brynne had pretty much had enough. Kadee wore her out with all the playing she wanted to do.

My dad, of course, with John Wayne

Cache really like all the weapons

Cache, "That's one big beaver, eh!"

It took Brynne a long time to get Kadee way from the cow!

This is Brynne being done. And Kadee being not done.

Kadee really liked the dress-up boots! She didn't want to put them back.

Cache ended up carrying her away.

Brynne kept saying we were too slow.

Cache was preaching to us the good word.

Kadee also really liked being in jail. She didn't want to come out.

And back to jail. This time with Papa.

Now Kadee started getting tire.

Bertoch Spring Break Visit - Exploring OKC

My family actually picked a very cold week to visit Oklahoma, so we tried to stay inside on the Monday they were here. We found ways to entertain ourselves though.

Quail Springs Mall. Cache was brave enough to do the trampoline thing.

Then we visited Pops because it's so cool. Only this time we stayed close to home instead of driving all the way out to Arcadia. The Pops around here really isn't far from our apartment and it's pretty cool too. I'm glad I found it!

Cache's soda

Mom tried fried okra. (When in Okrahoma!) I still don't get it. It's not good.

We even brought a soda home for Spencer. He was in class.

That afternoon, we set up an Easter Egg hunt for Kadee. She is really bad at finding Easter eggs. She will see one, pick it up, shake it, hear that something is inside, so she stops to open it and eat everything that is in it before moving on. She just really wasn't that interested in finding the eggs. Eating the "nummy eggs" (chocolate) was what she really wanted to do. Oh well. We tried.

So after we were all cold from Easter egg hunting, we went to Swadley's for BBQ! That was really my Dad's only request for this trip. We took them to Swadley's after Kadee's blessing and Dad wanted to go back.

Kadee LOVES the "wonga-wongi"! (macaroni)
